Tannberg - In the footsteps of the Walsers
from 22.06. to 16.09.12
The three Walser municipalities Warth, Schröcken and Lech are united by a common history - they were settled by the Walsers, as was also the TANNBERG, whose name dates back to the Walser court which existed for almost half a millennium until 1806.
The new learning path "in the footsteps of the Walsers" takes you on a journey of discovery through one of the most spectacular landscapes in the wide Alpine arc. Along the way you will encounter 57 so-called "wooden witnesses" engraved with sayings. A detailed text about the location of the "wooden witness" can be found in the book entitled "auf den Spuren der Walser am Tannberg"("In the footsteps of the Walsers at Tannberg").
